Step into the Sewing Room at Gettysburg Farmstead—awash in natural light from multiple windows, this serene space invites you to slow down and settle in. A cozy writing nook, complete with a classic sewing machine table, offers the perfect spot for journaling, reading, or simply taking in peaceful views of the surrounding countryside. The room’s soft, neutral palette is accented by warm wood tones, antique furnishings, and delicate textiles, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and welcoming.

Across the hall, your charming private bathroom features bright white finishes, a bespoke sewing table sink, and a walk-in shower. Plush bathrobes are provided for your comfort as you move between the room and bath.

Step outside and experience the slower pace of farm life. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea from the shared kitchenette on the first floor while relaxing on the porch swing or hammock. Spend your afternoons strolling the grounds, playing a game of pickleball, or simply soaking in the quiet beauty of the countryside. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit for s’mores under the stars, or head to the shared second-floor parlor to relax with books, board games, an electric fireplace, and a smart TV for cozy nights in.

While staying at the farm you will have access outside to the private pickleball court, seasonal cut-flower garden, historic barn, tree swing, firepit, hammocks, porch swing, outdoor dinning table and lawn games. You are also invited to spend time playing, petting and cuddling with out farm animals. Be sure to set a time to brush our Highland cows and feed them treats.

Located just a short, scenic drive from Gettysburg, you’ll have easy access to renowned attractions like the Gettysburg National Military Park, as well as local restaurants, wineries, coffee shops, and charming downtown experiences. The Farmstead also makes a perfect home base for day trips to nearby destinations like Liberty Mountain Resort, Hershey, and even Washington, DC.
